A 'section' is a collection of related tasks within a protocol. Each section has a specific name that makes it easy to identify. The arrangement of tasks is customized by the author of the protocol to suit the aim of the protocol. Tasks may be categorized into sections based on their type or when they're to meant be completed. As a participant, you'll see these tasks organized into sections.

After you finish all the tasks in a section, the author has the option to give you a report showing your progress in the protocol to that point.

This report can include information on how well you followed the treatments, progress on your primary outcome measurements, and other important details. It's to help you understand your progress through that part of the protocol. As a participant, you may elect to share the end of section report with others.
