An Efforia Task is a single, distinct activity that you'll find within an Efforia Protocol. Each task is a specific action that contributes to the overall objective of the protocol.

Tasks can come in different forms:

  • Treatment: These tasks involve following certain procedures or regimens, like taking a medication or performing an exercise.

  • Measurement: These tasks require you to record specific data, via validated participant self-reported assessments.

The nature and frequency of tasks are customized to align with the protocol's goals. Tasks can range from straightforward reminders, like taking a pill each morning, to more complex instructions, like completing a specific fitness routine at a gym. Tasks can occur once or repeat at given intervals throughout the protocol.

Tasks within the protocol are set to start and end at precise times. To help you stay on track, participants can sync these tasks with your Google or Outlook Calendar or a to-do list app like ToDoIst. They'll also receive email reminders and push notifications when tasks start and are due to be completed, ensuring you never miss a step in your protocol.
