To establish this vital link between your Shopify account and Efforia, it's necessary to create a private app on Shopify and share specific credentials with Efforia. This guide is designed to walk you through the process of obtaining an Admin API access token from Shopify, a key component in this integration. By following these straightforward steps, you'll be able to connect your Shopify account with Efforia quickly and securely.

1. Log in to your Shopify store.
2. Go to "Settings" and then click on "Apps and Sales Channels"
3. In the upper right click on "Develop Apps" 
4. The click "Create an App" ​

1. Provide a name for your private app. (We suggest calling the app "Efforia')
2. Enter your email address in the Emergency developer email section (this is where Shopify will send important notifications).
   
    

1. Click on "Configure Admin API scopes" (if you aren't already on the Admin API scopes page). Please check place checks next to the following boxes.

4. Install &amp; Generate API Key and Password:

Scroll up and click "API Credentials"  and you'll find the API key and Password.

Click on the "Show" link to reveal the password.

Take note of the API key, API Access Token, and API Secret key.

Share these keys with Efforia, along with your host name, which is typically your e-commerce site URL. In the below example quickstart-163ae5721.myshopify.com. ​ ​
