The 'Window Period' on Efforia is the designated timeframe during which a task can be completed before it expires. This feature provides flexibility to participants, allowing tasks to be done at any point within this period, rather than at a specific moment. It also ensures the protocol is completed by the participant with a high level of fidelity, and data collected is comparable with data collected at the same point by other participants

For tasks with specific time of day completion rules, the window period becomes particularly important. If a task is scheduled to be completed at a specific time on Day 1 and isn't done, and if the task has a window period of several days, Efforia will automatically reschedule the task. The task will be moved to the same scheduled time on the next day within the window period.

The 'Window Period' helps ensure tasks are carried out in a timely manner while offering some flexibility to accommodate your schedule. If you need any further clarification or assistance, our support team is always ready to help.
